How to secure and audit a Discord server

Ask Modu to audit your server. It reads the live server and returns a health score with fixes: staff channels visible to @everyone, roles quietly holding Administrator, duplicate roles, dormant channels and missing moderation. You approve the fixes it proposes, and it never grants Administrator itself.

Step by step

  1. 1

Sign in and add the bot

Go to modu.ubits.tech, continue with Discord, and add Modu to your server in one click. Adding it with Administrator lets every feature work without asking for permissions again; Modu's tools still never create or grant Administrator roles.

  2. 2

    Start a plan

The AI agent and every bot feature are in every paid plan, starting with Starter. Pick one on the pricing page; you can change or cancel it any time.

  3. 3

    Run the audit

Say "Audit my server and fix anything @everyone should not see". You get a score out of 100 and a list of findings.

  4. 4

    Review and approve the plan

Modu shows each change before it runs. Additions run straight away, renames and permission changes follow your setting, and anything destructive waits for your approval. Reversible changes can be undone from the history.

  5. 5

    Turn on protection

Ask for automod and anti-raid, and an event log channel so you can see what changes and who did it.

What to ask Modu

  • “Audit my server and fix anything @everyone should not see”
  • “Which roles have Administrator?”
  • “Turn on anti-raid and an event log”

Tips

  • Run the audit again after big changes; on any paid plan, a weekly health report can post the score to a channel or your DMs.

Questions

Does the audit change anything by itself?

No. The audit only reads. Fixes are proposed as a plan you approve.

Can I back up my server first?

Yes. Every paid plan includes daily backups of channels, categories, roles and permissions, with a guided restore.
