How to make a ticket system in Discord
With Modu, ask for a ticket system or set it up on the Tickets page: it posts a panel with a button, and each press opens a private channel for the member and your staff roles. Closing saves a transcript to a log channel. The panel text, colour, image and both buttons' text, emoji and colour are all customisable.

Step by step
- 1
Sign in and add the bot
Go to modu.ubits.tech, continue with Discord, and add Modu to your server in one click. Adding it with Administrator lets every feature work without asking for permissions again; Modu's tools still never create or grant Administrator roles.
- 2
Start a plan
The AI agent and every bot feature are in every paid plan, starting with Starter. Pick one on the pricing page; you can change or cancel it any time.
- 3
Ask for the ticket system
Say which channel the panel goes in and which roles are staff, for example "Set up tickets in #support for the Staff role, with transcripts in #ticket-logs". Modu creates a private Tickets category if you do not name one.
- 4
Customise the panel
On Bot features, Tickets, change the title, text, colour, image, and the open and close buttons (text, emoji and colour, including your server's own animated emojis), with a live preview. Or ask the agent: "make the ticket button green and say Create ticket".
- 5
Test it
Press the button as a member: a private channel opens with a welcome message and a close button. Close it to see the transcript arrive in the log channel.
What to ask Modu
- “Create a ticket system for support with a private staff channel”
- “Make the ticket button green, say Create ticket, and use our :ticket: emoji”
- “Show the open tickets”
Tips
- Give staff their own role rather than many people individually: the ticket permissions follow the role.
- Each member can have one open ticket at a time, which keeps the queue tidy.
Questions
Can members see each other's tickets?
No. Each ticket channel is visible only to the member who opened it, your staff roles and the bot.
Are transcripts saved?
Yes. Closing a ticket posts a transcript to the log channel you choose.
Can I change the ticket button?
Yes: its text, emoji (unicode or your server's own, animated included) and colour, plus the close button inside each ticket and the panel's text, colour and image.
