How to add leveling and rank cards to Discord
Ask Modu to turn on leveling: members earn XP for chatting, get an image level-up card, and can check an image rank card with .rank. Role rewards are given automatically at the levels you choose, and leaderboards show the most active members.

Step by step
- 1
Sign in and add the bot
Go to modu.ubits.tech, continue with Discord, and add Modu to your server in one click. Adding it with Administrator lets every feature work without asking for permissions again; Modu's tools still never create or grant Administrator roles.
- 2
Start a plan
The AI agent and every bot feature are in every paid plan, starting with Starter. Pick one on the pricing page; you can change or cancel it any time.
- 3
Turn on leveling
Say "Turn on leveling with rank cards". Choose where level-up messages go (the same channel or a dedicated one).
- 4
Add role rewards
Ask for rewards like "give Active at level 10 and Regular at level 25". The agent creates the roles if they do not exist yet, and Modu hands them out as members reach each level. Reward roles cannot carry moderator or admin permissions.
- 5
Style the cards
Open Bot features, Cards to change the rank and level-up cards: colours, background image, avatar shape and every element's position, with a live preview.
What to ask Modu
- “Turn on leveling with rank cards and give Active at level 10”
- “Make the rank card match our server colours”
- “Show the leveling leaderboard”
Tips
- Rewards work best a few levels apart, so members always have the next one in sight.
Questions
How do members see their level?
With .rank, which replies with an image rank card, and on the leaderboard.
Can I reset or set someone's level?
Yes. Ask the agent to set a member's level or reset leveling for the server.
